Nick Aubin of Nicholas Aubin Notary Corporation, can give people many reasons to visit him for their real estate transactions, Wills, Powers of Attorney and other needs – but perhaps the most compelling argument is that he loves what he does and he genuinely likes dealing with people.

Aubin completed his education in Kelowna and began working in a Notary Public office in 1997. In 2003 he was accepted into the course, was commissioned in 2005, and took over the family practice from his mother, Melody, who was the previous Notary.

“I like dealing with people,” he says. “It’s the feel-good part of what I do that I enjoy. That’s the part when I’m helping people with the legalities of buying or selling their houses and if I’m doing Wills or Powers of Attorney for them, then I’m helping to them to get their affairs in order so they feel more relieved in case anything ever happens”.

Notaries Public in British Columbia are governed by the Notaries Act, which oulines what areas of law they can practice. BC Notaries are unique in North America, providing non-contentious legal services to the public.

Aubin notes that they tend to be more available and more affordable. Notaries Public also have longevity in the province having operated here for about 80 years.

Aubin notes that he is involved in the community as a member of various service clubs and business organizations. He cares about the community and makes sure that he is also approachable. With 12 years experience in the industry, he notes that he feels confident with the advice he gives.

“People come to me because I have the experience and for the fact that I keep my practice specialized,” he says. “I do everything regarding real estate, Wills, Powers of Attorney and – of course – notarizations”

He adds that people also come to him because he works hard to give people what they need.

“The main thing about this work is talking with clients and finding out exactly what they need,” he says. “It’s advising them whether they can do what they want and if they can’t, sometimes there are different solutions.”

Nick invites you to contact his firm to discuss what he can do for you.
